The property is located on the outskirts of the picturesque town of Vélez Rubio and offers a wonderful opportunity to relax, unwind and appreciate the natural beauty of the region with its olive / almond groves and wheat fields set against magnificent mountain scenery.

walking
Time can be spent walking amongst the mountains, along caminos and ramblas. We have topographical maps of the surrounding countryside to guide you.
The local countryside has a large variety of wildlife including foxes, wild boar, squirrels, eagles and other bird-life making for excellent walks and days out in stunning and dramatic scenery.
cycling
Bicycles are available for your use.
horse riding
We have Andalucian horses on our property and can offer lessons for all abilities and hacking out for experienced riders. Livery facilities are also available.
coastal resorts
Close by are the coastal resorts of Aquilas, Cabo de Gata-Nijar, Old Mojacar, Cartagena, and Garrucha.
attractions
There are a host of places nearby that you can visit - Mini Hollywood, Mini Texas, Western Leone, Fort Bravo Cinema Studios (Tabernas), Caves (Sorbas), Fortress of the Sun (Lorca), Alhambra Palace (Granada), Parque Acuático (Vera) and the historic cave houses of Guadix.
There are also a number of new shopping centers Parque Almenara (Lorca), Nuevo Condominia and Thader Centro Comercial (Murcia).
fiestas
There are many fiestas throughout the year including a week for Semana Santa (Easter), involving large processions through the town over the Easter period.
The whole month of August features a host of carnivals throughout the district.
